SiamTrans: Zero-Shot Multi-Frame Image Restoration with Pre-trained Siamese Transformers

نویسندگان

چکیده

We propose a novel zero-shot multi-frame image restoration method for removing unwanted obstruction elements (such as rains, snow, and moire patterns) that vary in successive frames. It has three stages: transformer pre-training, restoration, hard patch refinement. Using the pre-trained transformers, our model is able to tell motion difference between true information obstructing elements. For we design model, termed SiamTrans, which constructed by Siamese encoders, decoders. Each temporal attention layer several self-attention layers, capture both spatial of multiple Only self-supervisedly on denoising task, SiamTrans tested different low-level vision tasks (deraining, demoireing, desnowing). Compared with related methods, achieves best performances, even outperforming those supervised learning.

Multi-frame Image Restoration for Face Recognition

Face recognition at a distance is a challenging and important law-enforcement surveillance problem, with low image resolution and blur contributing to the difficulties. We present a method for combining a sequence of video frames of a subject in order to create a restored image of the face with reduced blur. A generic Active AppearanceModel of face shape and appearance is used for registration....

Image restoration by minimizing zero norm of wavelet frame coefficients

In this paper, we propose two algorithms, namely extrapolated proximal iterative hard thresholding (EPIHT) algorithm and EPIHT algorithm with line-search (EPIHT-LS), for solving `0 norm regularized wavelet frame balanced approach for image restoration. Under the theoretical framework of KurdykaLojasiewicz property, we show that the sequences generated by the two algorithms converge to a local m...

Zero-Shot Sketch-Image Hashing

Recent studies show that large-scale sketch-based image retrieval (SBIR) can be efficiently tackled by cross-modal binary representation learning methods, where Hamming distance matching significantly speeds up the process of similarity search. Providing training and test data subjected to a fixed set of pre-defined categories, the cutting-edge SBIR and cross-modal hashing works obtain acceptab...

Siamese Neural Networks for One-shot Image Recognition

The process of learning good features for machine learning applications can be very computationally expensive and may prove difficult in cases where little data is available. A prototypical example of this is the one-shot learning setting, in which we must correctly make predictions given only a single example of each new class. In this paper, we explore a method for learning siamese neural net...
